Bad idea… His rebuttals are technical and require trust in Musk himself. Plus, his writing isn’t nearly as sharp. Musk just gave Thomas the opportunity to go further. Staying silent would have kept Owen’s criticisms on the fringe.
He should have let this one lie, let Thomas have his day in a relatively small news community. Instead, he comes back with a long post that threatens to elevate the tiff. And Musk is the only one with anything to lose.(Via TechCrunch)
