I'm Drew Breunig and I obsess about technology, media, language, and culture. I live in New York, studied anthropology, and work in advertising technology.

These are reactions to things I feel are important.

Google just announced Google TV. It looks interesting. However, the last thing I want to do on my TV is text search. Looks like I’ll be sticking with Roku.

Google argues that internet on the TV hasn’t worked because it delivered watered-down internet. They say only full internet will work. I disagree. Anyone with a Wii can tell you that browsing full webpages online is no cakewalk. If there was ever a place for contextualized internet, with apps, the television is it. (Google TV via Gizmodo)
