“ Microsoft will have four versions of Windows 8 for ARM processors, according to an Intel executive. But none of them will run older applications.”
This reminds me of one Saturday night, riding the F back from Brooklyn. When we should have been arriving at our stop, the train started making making stops on the A line. We got out after two wrong stops and talked to the conductor.
“Is this still the F train?” I asked.
“Yup,” she replied.
“So why are we no making F stops?”
“It’s the F train, but we’re running on the A line now.”
We walked home.
