“Here are the five reservoirs of Libya’s Great Man-Made River, Muammar Gaddafi’s megaproject bringing “fossil water” drawn from aquifers in the desert south to the coastal cities. These are the terminal points of the project’s Phase I water pipeline, running roughly through the middle of the country for some 1,200km. Additional pipelines run through the eastern and western parts.” (via Pruned)
