We’re moving to New York
After more than 6 years in the San Francisco, Megan and I will be packing up and trading coasts this February. It’s a big change, and I’m sure we’ll miss the Bay, but it was time for a change and the opportunity was one that couldn’t be ignored. There are tons of aspects to discuss, and I’m sure they’ll be trickling out, but right now let’s focus on the work change:
I’ve taken a position prototyping, designing, and developing tools for a new company in the Omnicom network. It’s very exciting stuff: we’re rebooting and building the data infrastructure and toolsets for some of the world’s biggest ad agencies, media agencies, and their clients. I can’t wait to get started. We have some great minds at the helm and there’s plenty of work to be done.
On a related note: if you happen to know talented developers (especially the agile sort), interface designers, or visualization wizards who are looking for a killer opportunity (a blank slate coupled with blue chip clients doesn’t present itself everyday…) please send them my way. We’re starting to build our team…
