Meanwhile, we will continue to increase the amount of advertising around our products, raise our prices, and utilize contrived DRM to limit our customers’ ability to flexibly use the products they purchase. Further, funds from our price increases and ad sales will not be used to improve our products. We will continue to squeeze old story lines for sequels and derivations while we use the money saved on writing to lobby congress and draft laws. Because — clearly –– piracy represents the gravest threat to our industry, not increasing prices, hostile consumer experience, and stale products.

By the MPAA’s logic, Pixar is more financially successful because they’re pirated less.
